Doesn't look like something that will create a lot of jobs in the next little while, nor get the economy moving forward.

"what's the reason the minority should have their way?"

The fake filibuster.

>>If the majority believe marriage is a contract between man and woman, what's the reason the minority should have their way?<<

Because discriminating against people for something they have no control over is wrong.

In any case, if a majority of people still believe that, it's only a very small, and shrinking majority. I'd have to look up a recent poll, but as I recall, the numbers are close to being even.

What if the majority believe blacks aren't human, and shouldn't be allowed to vote, or marry, or own themselves?

Sometimes the minority is morally right..

It has to do with equal rights for all.

I could list for you the advantages that heterosexual
couple gain in taxation as well as in a lot of inter personal matters..

We are ingrained to think that we do and it takes a lot of undoing. At my age it's even more difficult as I am
what is referred to as SET IN MY WAYS. However, I
think we all need to engender a broader perspective on
things that are in our brain because we have been taught
to think that way.
