Well Chongqing is already more populous than Canada :O)

I've taken the Yanghze river cruise, which usually starts in Chongqing. There is definitely something lost in translation. The "city" as we are used to it in North America streams by on the boat in an hour or two, no different than a major metropolitan in NA (it's a slow ship).

The actual "city limits" sign is passed the next morning. At this time, you've seen nothing but (sustenence) farms for hours.

We're missing a term... something bigger than a city, smaller than a state/province.
