The goobers who hunt and shoot birds would never know the difference...... As usual you don't know what you're talking about - they do/did notice when using copper/nickel plated lead shot - it appears more slippery and does not embed feathers in the meat as much as lead shot alone does. However, cost is higher and according to Dept. of Natural Resources - plating does not address the toxic lead issue.
