Well we are certainly seeing the acceptance of the importance of the UI designer grow, as I've always felt it would. But it seems to me that HP is uniquely situated to exploit the rise of the device, and their vision seems larger than Google's. Exciting stuff and we shall see. Hopefully we'll get to a point that we dreamed about with the rise of the net in that the OS is invisible. HP today has me thinking they might be a company to look at long term.
