A) Gregor, I should have payed closer attention when you announced you were starting this thread. I looked it over last night and you are off to a fabulous start! B) You have probably seen the tract that goes something like this: Page one- God gave to man 10 apples (a picture is shown of 10 apples) Page two- Three for food (picture of three apples) Page three- Three for clothing (another picture of three apples) Page four- Three for shelter (picture of three apples) Page five- The 10th apple God gave to man so he could give it back to God as a gesture of thankfulness for the other nine. (Pict. of one apple) Page six- But man looked at the 10th apple and it looked even better than the other nine, so he ate the apple and gave back to God the core. (Picture of an apple core) C) Re. your answer re. the two surgeons, can you be sure the first doctor was the father and not the mother and that the second doctor was the mother and not the father? <gg> In reading through your posts, I especially liked #89. Have you read Yancey/Brands book? In His Image? Dr. Brand, former surgeon general, a born again believer has tremendous chapters on the blood. Could even make a believer out of a non-believer!
