Wasn't this mostly a young 18-30 type voting bloc at the meeting?

I don't know much of anything about CPAC, but is it truly a valid analysis of who might be the most viable candidate(s)?

I am ready to be educated.

I'm listening to "This American Life" on public radio.

There is a story from the 90's about a guy who was selling a bunch of documents that put JFK into a very bad light.

Turns out they were fake.
Turns out ABC exposed it.
Turns out ABC consulted with a typewriter export who said the font on the documents was not available on any typewriter at the time the documents were allegedly typed.
The world accepted the truth of that immediately.

This American Life did not make any reference to the Bush papers scandal 10 years later which were exposed as fakes exactly the same way.

Run ron paul and the MSM will make him look wackier than Ross Perot and he will get less then the 19% Perot got in the election

There is something very off-putting for me regarding Ron Paul. Sometimes I like what he says, but think he would not wear well with the American citizenry.

Now on the other hand, I liked Mitch Daniels speech...understand he is small in physical stature, but very likeable....and Alan Keyes will be one to watch. I still think Newt is the best of all of them...but talk about the media destroying him...I think they would certainly try.

Ron Paul wins CPAC straw poll with 30% of the vote, Mitt Romney came in second with 23%.

And Mitt campaigned for that straw poll. I hope he takes the hint that this is not his year.
