Droid would have to knock Apple down to 15% market share or even less for it to matter.

Hell with the size of the market, and the transparency of the net I think it's more like 5%.

NOT GOING TO HAPPEN in the next 5 years.

Particularly considering the quality of the pilot fish companies attached to Google/Android.

These strategies are all a drag on google. Chrome, Chrome OS, Chromium OS, Android.

It's not as bad as the early days at Apple when there were all sorts of useless R&D projects going on but one onders.

Condescending? Absolutely! That's all this whole market share crap deserves. Market share compares percentages. That's a HELL of a lot different than comparing total sales, or even more relevant, profits. Not only that, but all the cheap droids that were sold at $50 with contract or given away free are to be compared with iPhones?

>>Yeah, this is an absurdly condescending sort of remark. Unfortunately, it is borne of ignorance.<<

Accusing another poster of ignorance crosses the line.

This constitutes your warning.
