Republicans need to create a plan and then draft legislation that makes the HC code look like a flea on a gnat's a**.

IOW......it should be huge.

It should propose deep cuts to every single agency in existence and propose ending some agencies. When it is rejected, it should then be worked over and even more cuts and the elimination of more agencies should be included.

They (dems) certainly can't complain it is to big.....we're talking about the entire budget for the U.S........and they'd get the size of the hc bill thrown back in their faces. (if the hc bill had to be so big.......think how big the national budget must be.)

As it is continually rejected, Republicans should get their talking points together and emphasize that the president and the democrat party really are the party of big govt, big spending, and higher taxes, and aren't serious about economic recovery. (they should also use the word "socialism.")

They should doubly emphasize how disastrous this is for our country.

It's an old trick. Demand much more than you're willing to accept.

That is exactly what the dems did with the hc bill.

No doubt doing this is fraught with risks.

Then in one fell swoop, Congress creates a health care package that takes 2400 pages just for their miserable contribution. When government agencies draft the Code of Federal Regulations for it, no bookshelf on earth will hold it.
