you are very welcome, I too am grateful for all the help i've gotten over the years from the astute people on the si threads and others. I cant retire in style either but I'll take whatever I can get. Having a good week in the market sure lessens the pain of watching and listening to water drip into various containers from one's dining room ceiling, paying someone to get snow and ice off your roof and listening to the din of drying equipment in one's house. I wish my stomach was iron. It has turned into mush from being kicked by Mr. Market too many times over the years. However, I think as value investors we do have to steel ourselves to the fact that what we get paid for is to accept that volatility. I retain the image of seeing Buffet and Munger together talking about how in the 25 years that Berkshire Hathaway has been public its market price has dropped 50% from its high 4 times.
