Ink for printers is always a huge cost. I read somewhere that it comes to $7,500.00 per gallon because you pay so much for a small container of it. They sell printers very cheap but get much more by selling ink.
Best to buy a laser printer the toner in them lasts forever and the printer cost is not that much more than an inkjet.

Not worth repairing inkjets, not only do the heads go, but the waste ink reservoirs fill up, and to change them is a big messy job. Toss them. I thought you bot that Samsung laser printer we talked about a year or two ago?
