Of course, any company can say we'll make such and such if silver goes to this or gold goes to that or copper goes to whatever. No one does, nor should they.

Even right now, they are not prepared to pay what they know they owe unless the decision is changed. It wouldn't be the end of Hecla, but it would require very significant changes in their plans and of course an immediate and significant hit to the share price.

Who knows how it ends up, but it's supposed to be final this year. Someone like David Bond might have something up to date on this, as well as some other writers that cover that area. I wouldn't listen too much to the enviros nor to the companies, they will each tell you very different scenarios from their own interest.
