Ha. I wrote an app back in '92 that runs under DOS using a Paradox database. I still have it running in several offices, processing millions of transactions a year. Runs perfectly under Windows 7 (in 64k memory, even). I can't get these bums off of it.

You just can't kill it.

I would NEVER put Brad in the fanboy trolling category, zax. You may not know this, but Brad wrote the code for Silicon Investor. He and his brother Jeff then proceeded to sell this place for $30 million, at the top of the internet bubble days. The details are all here:

Subject 18370

I have nothing but absolute respect for Brad. In my experience, he is totally honest, completely straight forward, and a coding genius.

Oh, and clearly a very smart businessman! (g)

You should feel honored he visited this thread!

******WELCOME TO THE 5TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BIGGEST BLOWN CALL IN STOCK MARKET HISTORY********

Yes, folks, it was exactly 5 short years ago today, that this FATEFULLY WRONG thread was created by Zax and proclaimed by Zax..... as....

"Welcome to the top, folks. Apple closed today at $363.13"

I mean, some people make BLOWN CALLS, it happens to all of us.. But, due to it's publicity and their constant inability to admit HOW WRONG THEY WERE.. This qualifies this as 'THE BIGGEST BLOWN CALL IN STOCK MARKET HISTORY"..

Please give Zax and Sylvester a nice round of applause for this years, "Ostrich head in the sand award".

For old times sake.. Here is the first introduction paragraph of Apple Tankwatch thread.
************************************************************************8
Numbers of interest, 2/16/2011:

Market cap of AAPL: $335B

Market cap of WMT: $194BM
Market cap of MSFT+DELL+LENOVO: $310B
Market cap of Nokia? Forget that.
GDP of Finland: $273B

You get the picture. Somethings not adding up folks. The new "mobile revolution?"

Mabye, but its still a bubble. And the only thing I like more than buying into them at the bottom, is shorting them at the top. Its not as profitable, but it is infinitely more gratifying.

Welcome to the top, folks. Apple closed today at $363.13

One last thing: Trolling of fanboys is not only permitted here, IT IS REQUIRED. Anyone showing any sympathy for the milked masses as the titanic sinks will be unceremoniously tossed. Just kidding.
***************************************************************************
Next time you see Zax or Sylvester on thread.. Make sure to congratulate them for being a memorable part of the BIGGEST BLOWN CALL IN STOCK MARKET HISTORY.
