They pulled all the notebook i7's off the Canada and USA websites, I called to order a new computer the sales guy said they had issues with the i7 and pulled them, only i3 and i5 are offered. Tech support has no idea whats going on.

Why didn't they tell me about these issues when I order the i7 machine?

Same with Lenovo, audio issues that a patch would not fix, they were eager to sell me one, but would not mention the audio problems, that still plague a good chuck of their systems.

Tried calling customer care, they are close weekends. I am pissed right off. I just spent 6 hours configuring and installing crap on that machine.

Another thing, they repriced all the XPS 15 i5's on their site (increased the prices) they are now the same cost the i7's were going for.

No more 2 GB video cards, they were only available on the i7 machines.

They pulled all the XPS 17 inch systems as well, there was a pile of complaints of motherboards going on the 17 inch XPS machines.

Going to wait for Toshiba to bring out their new product lines.

This 499 dollar Toshiba I am using now is a very good machine, except the keyboard.
