It's a totally different story for HD sector. What they are making are called commodities. The products are interchangeable between different companies and they have very low margnins (around 10%?). The one company that can offer the lowest price will win the war. However, the companies in network sector are mainly selling technology and they have very high margin (around 60%?). Price pressure does exsit in this sector if you are selling comparable products in terms of the technology and functions. However, the pressure is much less than the hard drive sector. For network sector, the comany with the best technlogy and marketing will survive and win!

To compare networking vs DD is like comparing apple vs orange.
Please Jonathan,before you make any statement like that,research
more diligently with what netwoking,ISDN,ATM,100 Mbps Ethernet are
about first.
