If your contention is that marijuana dealers will stop making money on illegal trade you are mistaken. Marijuana dealers aren't driven by a reverence for weed. They aren't ideologues who will stop illegal trading because marijuana is legalized. Their high profit margins are what lures them to the game. They will simply shift to a more profitable product.
Illegal products have the greatest profit margins and the present dealers are accustomed to and predisposed to the risk/rewards offered by such activity.
