"---anytime" should be qualified. Leaps can often be very non-liquid investments. You can always get executed but at what price is a different story.

AMAT options are currently very heavily traded, but for example if AMAT were to rise to $47 and stay there for 3 months, option activity would decrease significantly. Spreads on LEAPS would increase, A person selling only 10-20K worth of LEAPS could cause significant pressure on the option.

I'm not knocking LEAPS, I do however prefer warrants when possible, but I'm just trying to riase awareness of their trading characteristics.
