Wow!

I've never seen so much pure unadulterated bull shit in a single PR ever.

Just a few red flags.

1. Listed on the Venture exchange for which I'm sure you fully appreciate its reputation for "quality".

2. No name company licenses some IP from a no name professor who couldn't interest any reputable company in the semi sector.
Some expression like "If wishes were horses, beggars would ride." comes to mind.

3. Heavy use of the words, "would, could, should, if, might, ..."

4. No use of the words, " Customers, Prospective customers, Revenues, Income or even estimated revenues, estimated income, existing products, expected products, ..."

And on and on ...

It's not even clear what steps would be required before the idea could be implemented. What equipment, processes and other capabilities would have to first be developed before this idea could be used to generate any revenue whatsoever let alone a profit.

IMO, it's a typical Venture exchange story that is unlikely to do anything other than separate fools from their money.

I'd need to know what product they plan to produce, when, who they expect to sell it to, and how they expect to eventually become profitable. If they've filed an audited financial statement, my guess is that they've spent more money pumping their stock than doing any R&D. My guess is they don't even have an auditor from a firm that you might have heard the name of, if they have one at all.

But other than that, it's probably a marvelous opportunity. :)

CK, that stock was halted Monday finance.yahoo.com
and opened again today to double in value in one day. Volume was 100x normal. The company's core business is solar installations.

Penny stock fever - I'd stay away, but nimble traders might profit.

Here's their web site opelinc.com
and stock info
tmx.quotemedia.com
opelinc.com

and the valuation report for the new method
opelinc.com
all 226 pages of it, including lots of redacted pages

strangely, the Yahoo board only has one post today
messages.finance.yahoo.com

CK, that company's solar business is not doing well investing.businessweek.com

so, to keep the stock in play they needed a shot in the arm - the new combo chip method. Purely speculative IMO.
