MUDMAN:... To get the Net Asset Value you
take the amount of oil and multiply that number by
5. You then take that number and divide by the
number of shares outstanding. In the PSO case it
is 25,000,000 x 5 = 125,000,000 divided by 33,000,000 = 3.78
Remember, this is assuming that they find 50 million
barrels. Since PSO owns 50% of the well, you use the figure
of 25 million barrels. You can use the same calculations
to get an estimate of the partners Net Asset Value.

The current NAV is a very difficult figure to pinpoint at
any given moment. You almost have to contact a company to
get the current information.
