Hi Sonki, probably short covering, although some of the divergent action was encouraging. I believe we are probing for a bottom with a view to developning a sustainable rally in near future. There is a slight to even chance we may have seen lows already, but I am suspicious. If rally continues strong today it would look better and will give us a clue as to how much of previous mkt behaviour is still evident.. rgds Wiz

Sonki, I am supposed to be out of here but I wanted to post quick about GNT. I hope you did not buy it. Gosh, earnings came in above expectation but then this charge comes along. It was down almost 10 points but has now come back some. Around 6. This was unforeseen. I do remember that the same thing has been said before: People paying off high interest loans and replacing it with lower ones. But GNT has a good track record. They will get over this. Lower interest rates will give them more business. I am off. Sonny
