A friend of mine lives under oppression by the House of Saud

He was visiting Vancouver and we were at a party and he was asked questions about the torture and lack of free speech there. Believe it or not, even though he was in Vancouver, he told people that he didn't want to talk against the Saudi Government because he was worried it would get back to Saudi agents in Canada who watch their citizens wherever they travel.

Personally I'd like to see Saudi overthrown and the bin Laden family (friends of Washington) and other Saudi terrorists that did 9/11 arrested and prosecuted but hey that's another story.

7 of the hijackers are still alive and it's about time someone went in to get them

Recall that the only ONLY jet allowed to fly after the 3 (three) towers in Manhattan were attacked was a jet loaded with members of the bin Laden family.

Suggestion.....sell all stocks not related to precious metals and agriculture (potash etc) and go out right away and buy as much silver (physical) bullion and coins (.999) as you can and spread it around. Lastly it will not take much to empty the store shelves and I believe this will happen within weeks or months so go to Costco and load up now. Don't forget food for pets and bottled water. Or.....ignore this advice.

c2, i believe we are at the precipice of the abyss, looking at a very unfamiliar arena within, just that the most do not know enough to even guess at what shall be

the current stitching of geopolitical sphere is fragile at best, and imo, about to tear asunder and experience spontaneously combustion

what awaits after cannot be democracy anything or self-determination anything else, but utter and absolute free-for-all chaos

in the event of such eventual chaos, it is difficult to make a case for survival of most paper monies

and as go the paper monies, so go almost everything else more worthwhile

folks are under estimating the potential for bad developments, and it is most assuredly not priced into the market except to say that should paper money become worthless, maybe corporations would do slightly better than worthless.

We are celebrating my brother-in-law's birthday at some restaurant in town. Limo pickup and drop off is part of the equation.

While on way here was side tracked a block by some demonstration, and then waylaid by a counter demonstration.

The issue is that one group is against an equal across-the-board government largess of usd 750 per current or past tax payer (everyone with mandatory retirement a/c) due to budgetary prudence. The money is a small part from last year's government surplus.

The other group is for the largess, but against even distribution, wishing to cut out non-locals, including all Americans and mainland Chinese residing in hong kong.

Hong kong popular will at work, on what amounts to our political activism ;0)

The hong kong government was supposed to run a deficit in 2009 given the supposed state of the global economy and screwed up by running a surplus anyway.

Our government is uniquely incapable of running a deficit even when it tries to do so google.com
