It's nice to buy support (or sell R)... yes, when you're right it gives you a nice cushion, and when wrong it is possible to get out with little damage. It's especially true if the last move is an ending pattern, like an ED... or a small impulse which follows a triangle. We'll see if something like that comes our way.
