Tools of natural observation apply to the natural world. It may be that your internal inquiry has left you experiencing spiritual solitude. Just be aware that not everyone has the same experience.

<It is my experience that there is no deity or divine principle that can be detected and or characterized using either the tools of natural observation or internal inquiry. >

While "detected or characterized" may be true or untrue, depending on definition, if you use the principle of "immanence" it all makes more sense.

Interestingly it is evolution itself which has, and is, in the process of forcing a re-contextualization of possible versions of God... which is why the wacko contingent fights so hard against the obvious. :) They feel comfy with the god they were taught about. Not unlike flat earthers, their version of an old guy with a beard pulling strings on puppets dies hard.

I forget who said that these outmoded ideas only die with those that defend them die and the younger generations who grow up with the obvious replace them... but he/she was probably right.

Maybe you're experiencing spiritual solitude or something like that?
