unclear

imo we must at least start to get away from carbon
nuclear has a place in the energy mix
just not in a quake zone immediately next to the ocean and with backup generators exposed to the elements
the nukes of japan operated per spec, survived the quake
just that the units are too close to the ocean
a distance of perhaps 5 kilometers would have been prudent

the folks may throw out the baby with bathwater, and if so, pity

japan can move forward and show the way, or

japan can shrivel back and be done done

to fall down is ok

to fall down and not pick anything up in the course of getting up is not ok
