I don't think so, they are all tribal 6 century people. The Shah was modernizing the country now look at it. The same thing will happen to Libya and Egypt. Al Quead, the taliban and the Muslim Brotherhood will have a field day with all that oil money

I'm not sure what your point is. Any comparison with Iran, 30 years ago, seems to me to be an inappropriate comparison. His point is (heaven forbid I find solidarity with one of his statements), that unless you know that a better SOB will replace the SOB now in charge of a foreign country then you have no business interfering. Do we know who these insurgents are in Egypt, Lybia, Yemen, Barhain? Are you so sure that you'll have "democracy" there now? Al
