Well, in this case - YES!

The Clik! external box has a variety of accessories. Among them is an interface slot for CompactFlash.

Kodak is still committed to CF. An internal clik! drive is still to big, takes to much power and would add $150 to the price of a camera. The cost of the clik! drive is kept obscure by Iomega since it is not cheap. The external clik! will have a list of $200 in 2nd half of 1998 plus interface accessories.

By the way, Canon is already shipping a printer with a CompactFlash slot. You don't need a PC to print from a CF with this printer. If a clik! drive that sells OEM for $100 is added to a printer, that would increase the price of the printer to a consumer by $150-$200 over the printer price with a CF slot which only requires a $2.00 connector.

Full disclosure -- I'm long SanDisk and I manage the CompactFlash Association.
