Maintenance.......... Winspear Resources is an exploration company, they have several pokers in the fire at all times, thats what they do for a living. They may acquire a property, or a another company (small one) or another JV, maybe in Alberta, maybe NWT, maybe Africa, if they didn't do this or think like this then they would be neglecting their own business and future growth. That's what its all about in exploration. Of course a zillion theories will surface once it's known whats up. Now if it was Cypango or Kalahari (proximity guys) well that would be saying a lot. Anyway they are just doing what they went into business to do......... Diamonds Forever..............call em the way you see em........Chuck

Hello Goldfinger,

I suppose I can see your point. This could give them incentive to promote and raise the share price. I feel better. I do hope that Snap Lake is sufficient motivation though.

Hello chuck,

I agree that this is their business and their future, but I would like to see them concentrate their efforts on Snap Lake for now.

Hello Walt,

I don't know if diamonds would be a hedge for falling gold, but as gold and diamonds are complimentary, I would expect that a decrease in the gold price would result in an increase in diamond sales. Question how long does it take for a reduction in gold prices to be reflected in the price at the jewelry store?

cheers

Goldfinger, I hate to admit it but I have to agree with you about Botswana.

I found Tomato and the Crocodile posting on the Aber thread yesterday(November 14) so they are still around. I was hoping Tomato might come up wth a one year birthday ditty for this thread.
