I was reading the posts at another board (Mot Fool) and found this...

"Today (9-15) someone took a $20,000 put position in MLIN. It looks like they bought 100 put options (Jan 10 at 2). Does somebody know that the earnings are going to be bad or are they hedging their long position? Somebody must have a good reason for this $20,000 speculation.
Any comments appreciated."

I too would be interested in what you folks know or think about this. I realise it's a stale post but with the share price trying hard to stay above 8 it makes me wonder.
Does the fellow making puts really think the stock will be at $2 by Jan? And just how does this hedge a long position?

Regards

Jim
