Caxton, so let me get this straight....

You post to me on the ERICY thread, telling me of your opinion, which is that I should switch from ERICY to QCOM. You base this on points such as:

"CDMA gaining strength everywhere" - Oh really... how's that strength in Latin America??? And Europe... yep coming on like gangbusters there too...

"ericy phones being sold for $10 and nobody particularly likes them" - Isn't it amazing then that for the latest quarter, ERICY handsets sales went up 104%... amazing how those silly facts keep getting in the way....

"cdma phones selling for $200-$500" - and this affects ERICY how??? That you've priced yourselves out of the lower cost markets? Or is this supposed to affect the ERICY phones selling in the same price range.... you've lost me on this "benefit" to CDMA...

"ericy with no cdma license" - Uhhhhhhh....maybe you meant IS-95? CDMA as I've stated before, does not belong to QCOM, only the implementation mechanisms that they've patented.

"ericy has no clear lead in wcdma versus the other guys" - I think you put it eloquently enough in your subsequent post when you said "I don't know who is clearly ahead in the wcdma development game, don't have any facts."

So summing it all up, these are really some compelling arguments you've assembled (snort). If you "don't care what the hell I invest in" then don't waste my time posting messages addressed to me, filled with unsubstantiated junk while telling me it's "time to switch companies".

Good luck with QCOM,

DWB
