This is ridiculous! I've listened to and read several sources for analysis, and I am absolutely convinced we went into this for the express purpose of protecting European oil fields. This is not a valid reason to put American service member's lives in jeopardy. It is not a valid reason to spend American tax dollars. Nor was committing American service members in this rushed manner beyond the purview and authorization of Congress. It was an amateurish thing to do and instead of making him look presidential, it makes him look like a fool. It also makes it rather clear that he is not concerned about what is in the best interest of our country, I'm not surprised, as that's been his MO all along.
