Hi Don,

I am not a conspiracy theorist.

I do believe many hedge fund have shorted the heck out of many big caps and levered the funds to yield instruments.

Free money from shorting has been applied to earn yield and the SEC has not been protective of our US corporations as Europe has been.

This has resulted in a long term depression of stock prices.

Viable and very profitable companies are seeing acquisitions as prime time to buy the competition.

Fewer competitors have always resulted in bigger and firmer margins - look at the oil companies and airlines.

My bet is this starts the feeding frenzy of very smart acquisitions which will solidify the leaders within the semi sector.

Those with cash will prevail - if they buy their competitors vs fight them in the arena of margins.

This is a very good event.

Couple this with QE2 driving up the entire market and this big pump has been primed.

If you ar short now - these huge mergers have to send shivers up your back bone.

Multimillion dollar profits turn into millions of losses when the ticker goes away and you have to settle up.

It time to roll in the shorts position as they are to be viewed as too dangerous.

Prepare to cover - the recognition wave is about to appear!!!

If you are short get long !

If you are long get more!!!

Bob
