I feel that there are just too many companies building the hardware. The technology is here and it must be put to use in a hurry. Customer base and not standards is what is important here. Look to the companies selling net phone minutes today. Within a few months one gateway will sound just like another. Money will start to flow from the small guys like ftel, voclf, nspk, maybe inter tel (intl), to companies like idtc in the near term. Investor relations at idtc are very happy with the volume of prepaid calling card numbers sold for use on net to phone direct (phone to phone) calls. I have followed this company since it went public, and I sense that they are holding a bunch of great news back for the earnings release date of Nov 18.
