FWIW, I took GS downgrade very seriously. For example, shortly after GS removed PTI off its recommended list, sure enough, PTI preannounced, and of course tanked. At the same time, another brokerage (can't recall which one but lower on the brokerage "food chain") had just called PTI a "L/T buy". Well I guess anyone buying on that recommendation is a "L/T buy"-er as PTI fell from 30 as of GS downgrade, to 15. GS' quick call obviously saved clients a bundle.

Given GS is, based on other SI posts, selling with conviction, I'm concerned about a similar preannouncement from COMS. I'm long COMS but am protecting position short term using options; primarily OOM puts in case of a debacle ala ASND. Bottom line, ignore GS at own risk.
