In regard to "posting your diatribe to me". A few days ago you tossed the hard balls around claiming the right wing was being hypocritical for not supporting Obama's ill conceived Libyan war adventure. It was obvious to me those comments were pointed toward members of this thread. I'm still responding to the sarcastic tone of those posts.

I'm not a partisan, so pointing out political hypocrisies and inconsistencies appeals to me. I enjoy it. Perhaps you're taking my comments too personally. These threads are simply a place for intellectual banter or mental exercise, or so it seems to me.

Obama's stated goal in Libya appeared to be centered on "preventing a massacre" and "installing a Democratic Government". Although factions within his administration differ on those stated goals, I believe both statements from the Obama administration are a lie. The motivation is a lie and the execution is deeply flawed.

If these are lies, then what is the truth in your opinion? What were/are his goals?

I agree with you that the execution is looking quite flawed and the odds of failure are rising, imo, but I'm still inclined to take him at his word as far as his motivations behind the decision go. If he's lying about what his motivation was, then what do you think motivated him? I'm not being sarcastic, just curious.
