You should know better. The ultra wealthy are sitting on their money watching all those less fortunate go down the drain.

"and that assumes they cuts failed to stimulate the economy, which is doubtful"

the only stimulus we've had has been the fed clowns printing like mad since Reagan.

can you say Ponzi scheme?

"You should know better."

He DOES know better and that's the primary problem with his politics.

It's OK to have whacked out delusional and idealistic ideas about the way things should be. It's another to lie and cheat so that the 95% of Americans either not blessed with the intellectual ability to understand the issues or too busy with life wind up supporting you.

The only hope for the type of democracy we have (where government controls A LOT of the pie and can run rampant around the globe killing people) is honest discussion.

Without that, the government has to be dismantled. To put it bluntly, American are too dumb for democracy to work otherwise.

You are not counting the subsidies and tax forgiveness (most recently offered to General Motors when they had a "profit") to oil companies and other corporations to invest outside the USA, which were part of the Bush tax program.
