My family has been served by a PA...the assumption that this is lesser care is yours not mine.

It is not a mere "assumption", it is a fact. PAs do not have the training of a physician. It should be intuitively obvious, even to an idiot like you, that it is a lesser grade of care.

Furthermore, considering that millions have NO care at all, then I suppose PAs can be a welcome improvement.

If you want to codify the fact that Medicare/Medicaid patients who can't pay their own way will see PAs or APNs, fine. As it now stands, a Medicare patient is NOT ALLOWED to pay more to see a physician rather than a PA, under the law.
