Ummm... Someone posted that they thought (as I did) that Hillary was bananas back when she spoke of a "vast right wing conspiracy." I suspect that Obama experienced his "Hillary moment" in the health care effort - eight months of "negotiations" that were in effect nothing but stalling tactics that in the end yielded not a single Republican vote. He's not going to play that game any more. Obama the campaigner spoke of reaching across the aisle, building consensus and solving problems. Well, that didn't work, so in that sense he must behave differently. One thing we knew all along... Obama's a quick study.

He's the same man. The only difference is he's president now so he believes he must behave differently.

Past head of shell oil just said China has increased its demand for oil by 600,000 barrels just since the beginning of the year. 9 million to 9.6 million!

India is at 4 million headed to 7 million.

Can't remember exact time frames

So here we go! The demand for oil from China and India are really going to bring on peak oil very quickly and we are not prepared to deal with it.

Europe and much of the rest the world are used to much higher gas prices, like $8 in Europe. This is going to give them a huge advantage over us.
