skeeter,

I'm all for a good conspiracy, but I have a tough time thinking 9/11 was somehow sponsored by US interests or even allowed to happen without interference.

If someone was trying to provide a reason to go to war with Iraq, they could have come up with something a lot better than 9/11 and made it less of a controversial decision. They would have created a clear and direct connection.

I wholeheartedly believe that some foreign governments stood to benefit if the US went to war with Iraq, but again, even if someone else was trying to provoke it or withheld information about it, 9/11 doesn't make any sense as a way to get that agenda done.
