Inode, best thing about USPS is that it's cheap and they deliver the mail every day. But if you want fast, efficient service with unbeatable tracking, FedEx and UPS are the best.

Bentway must be smoking something if he thinks no private company can do the job that USPS currently does.

"Yet, the USPS STILL cannot make money in spite of ever-reduced services and ever-increasing fees."

You know that the USPS is prohibited FROM "making money"? That they have to estimate the cost of their service based on the prior year's cost?

What does Fed Ex charge for a letter Dave? I believe it's around $6 now. What does the USPS charge? $.44!

Is Fed Ex lobbying for the USPS's job? NO! I think the post office does a GREAT JOB, and if you ideological "free marketers" manage to "privatize" them, America will be ROYALLY PISSED!

Case CLOSED!
