too many Americans really don't get how badly screwed up the GOP is..... They are learning quickly from the House Reps and the loony new Rep governors out there; the polls on all of them show a lot of blowback already.

"I believe he knew from the getgo that the Rs are not ones with whom you can negotiate." I don't believe he did, Ted. In state gummint, they eventually HAVE to agree - they HAVE to negotiate. I also think that he thought HE could do it, bring them together. Washington is a different game than state gummint. It's like hardball compared to slow-pitch softball.
