Hi Jesse,

Quarterdeck does seem to be a cyclical type of software company,
but, I wanted to temper a little on your comments. The last
boom in QDEK I think was textbook case of hype. When it TOPPED
at 39 it had a P/E somewhere in the stratosphere of 120. And
this was 39 at the height of the internet craze, just compare
QDEK with NSCP, or any other internet stock at that time.

My concern these days, do they have some products that will sell.
To me it seems that simple. I don't have a clue to the answer
to that one and rely upon the rest of you guys out there for more
expertise.

I'm in at around 3 and I am thinking that QDEK is due for a nice
run up during the next 6 months, it'll be great if you're right
that we're at the bottom here.

Jesse--I mean nothing personal, but could you clarify your relationship with QDEK. You seem to be well-informed about the company and its products. You have been consistently positive and consistently wrong. The stock price has fallen dramatically all the time you were talking it up. You, correctly, identify yourself as a Qdeckalholic, but please let me know your exact relationship, if any, to QDEK.

Again, nothing personal.

good investing--fred
