Hi laleh,

If you mean Microsoft NetMeeting, then no, they're not in competition. Microsoft isn't really interested in building hardware, they just want to sell the software that runs on the hardware. EFusion is building hardware platforms like gateways etc and related software, and Microsoft would love to have these machines running NT server, and other Microsoft software like database management etc on it. EFusions' gateways are being marketed as 'application enabling' which means software like NetMeeting is going to work better (at least that's what Microsoft hopes). Microsoft believes that IP telephony is a world they want to be involved in, and would happily invest in companies doing IP telephony as long as they use PCs running NT to build the hardware and as long as they work with their other software.

What I want to know is whose hardware they are using inside their gateways. The 'Fusion' name is the name for Natural MicroSystems' IP gateway hardware but I don't think EFusion would name their company based on the underlying NMSS hardware/software. Anyone know?
