iPad sales were up to 50% less than expected on the estimates out there. And CRAPple managed to not even match the smallest of the estimates. Add to that they flooded the verizon channel with the iPhone which they counted as sales and it's no surprise that they counted down for next Q. Also, for the first time, they did not give true iPhone ASPs, due "to competitive reasons". Me thinks that the deal with Verizon has some kind of quarter after quarter decline in ASPs which CRAPple does not want the world to know. Short at will. This week probably will be the high for the year for CRAPple.

So with estimates of 6.5 million iPads this quarter they have 3.5 million more to sell (or stuff in the channel) in the last 20 days (Mar 11-Mar 31) or else they would miss those projections. Now let's assume they sold 500,000 at launce weekend.. that leaves 3 million to sell from Mar 14-Mar 31 or in 17 days... that's 177,000 each and every day for the next 17 days... good luck with that... <VBG>
