No, Lachim, this isn't exactly what everyone else is doing. Others are not logging your coordinates; creating a virtual case history against you and conveniently placing it in plain unencrypted downloadable text on your person, and up until now, without your knowledge.

Steve Jobs has personally placed a GPS logger in the pockets of millions and millions of people.

This is, quite literally, criminal invasion of privacy.
