For reasons better known to yourself, you prefer to ignore the facts that I have, repeatedly, stated that it was my intention to be Objective on the subject. It was also my intention not to be pro-Obama or pro-Trump. As I also stated, I came into this discussion late, after seeing a recent interview of Donald Trump on TV.

There are many SI members on several boards who have doubts about Obama’s nationality, while, at the same time, there are many SI members on other boards who have no doubt about his stated nationality. Similar differing views exist out there in the public domain. Both sides come up with what they believe is proof on the subject.

Generally speaking, in such a case, a truth lies either somewhere in the middle, or it lies within one of the opposing camps.
It is obvious where your view lies and you’re entitled to it.
I fail to see why one cannot have a differing view or come to a different conclusion than someone else without resorting to abuse.

I was only interested as to what the truth is. I had no personal preference as to where it lay.
I must say, I certainly would be surprised if something as fundamental as the nationality of an elected President wouldn’t have been thoroughly investigated and vetted, considering its Constitutional importance.
But by the same token why would there be so many out there that would doubt or question what would normally be regarded as an obvious finding. Because those that doubted it stood such a good chance of being wrong and open to ridicule.
It was that, that initially aroused my curiosity at the time.

In addition, let me repeat what I said in a previous post ...

“Rest assured, it’s of no real importance to me as to whether or not Obama was born in the USA. It may be important from a legal and Constitutional standpoint, but that's a separate issue.
What should be more important, IMO, is whether or not he can live up to and positively promote, as the incumbent President of the USA, the Timeless Principles as spelt out by another President of the USA, namely Abraham Lincoln, .... “Government OF the People, BY the People and (MOST IMPORTANTLY, IMO) FOR THE PEOPLE.”

If you cannot accept my bona fides on the subject, then so be it. It’s your choice.
