Again, I think Bruwin is a sexual predator. I could post that all over the Internet if you were a public figure, without proof, only saying "if you can't prove me wrong it must be true". And a significant number of people would say "we can't rule that out". And a smaller subset would just flat out believe it.

Civilized and intelligent people don't operate that way. Joe McCarthy people operate that way. "it's your choice" what type you want to be.

Now time to take my dog to the beach.

Whether Obama was born here or not is a settled issue. And it should be treated as such. At a time when people do not have jobs, it is a waste of taxpayers' money to be debating this not only in the media but also is State legislatures and Governor's mansion. To even discuss this is a waste of time and money.

People including Trump, who think majority of Americans would consider this as the central issue in 2012 are loonies. There should be no place for them in a democracy.

Having said that, I think we need a Obama opponent who can very effectively articulate how ineffective Obama has been in meeting the fundamental goal that the people voted him in for. How he squandered away the wealth and instead of fixing the evils of Bush, he went ahead and indulged in them. Both Bush and Obama added to the deficit. BUsh added 4 trillion in 8 years and Obama added 2 in 4 years.

Obama has also some strong points in his favor that he likely will bring up. So we have many exciting issues to discuss and even though the "society trash" folks keep debating his birthplace, we can ignore it altogether.

Talk about ridicule. John McCain had to correct a poor woman on national TV who believed Obama's funny name proved he was a Muslim.

People confuse opinions and facts all the time, or latch on to what they want the facts to be. People hear that Obama has yet to show his "birth certificate" and close their ears. That's it. Period. They don't hear anymore because they don't like Obama in the first place.

You're too kind in having such faith in people.

But by the same token why would there be so many out there that would doubt or question what would normally be regarded as an obvious finding. Because those that doubted it stood such a good chance of being wrong and open to ridicule.

Generally speaking, in such a case, a truth lies either somewhere in the middle, or it lies within one of the opposing camps.

It is obvious where your view lies and you’re entitled to it.
I fail to see why one cannot have a differing view or come to a different conclusion than someone else without resorting to abuse.

The president of the US has said he was born in this country. It seems to me that the onus is on the people who disagree with his claim to prove him wrong. Some have tried but most simply persist in the gossip because it serves their purpose. And people like you help to serve that purpose by perpetuating the gossip.

And bruwin that's all it is......malicious, racist and political gossip.
