sb, I'll consider EaseUS for my next computer because of the positive feedback I've seen. Right now TI works for me and I don't change things that work.

I read a post somewhere that this product, for whatever reason, contains lead and that is causing issues with the harddrives once you start using it.

But seriously, I looked at the app - you would need the Workstation ($40US) version in order to properly compare to Acronis. Acronis does the image stuff and you won't get that unless you move up to the Workstation.

(Imaging is, however, negatively impacted when you defrag your drive - which what I posted about recently).

To me the "great job" doesn't occur until the system has crapped out and now is the time to restore it. The version on my XP (Acronis XP v10) so far is the only one I have used that gets the "excellent job" seal of approval. I have yet to have to do a full recovery with TI 2011.
