In TI 2011 Home I have been able to customize a backup scheme which creates a full backup after 6 incremental backkups. I can get 6 daily incremental backups with a full backup for a total of 7 images each week.

Home 2011 has a number of features and custom settings that I didn't have in 2009 which I was ready to give up on. Thought I would give Home 2011 one more try and now very happy with Acronis.

I think much of the dissatisfaction is with not correctly setting up Acronis initially when installing, and then not using the program properly. That was my situation with 2009, Learning a few nuances in configuring the setup make the operation run smooth and relatively simple. Had a tech friend give me a great set of written instructions for a simple install and properly using the program settings and features. Now I really like it, and feel very secure with my images (always validated).

I do only full backups and use the name TI suggests - adding date and time to the name.
