If the data isn't an actual log of your location (with timestamps, etc), then it's much less an issue than I imagined. I was only really arguing the point against those that had no issue with their location history being is on their phone. However, I think you would be surprised with how accurate cell tower and wifi triangulation can be. When I turn off GPS on my android phone, Maps can still locate me within a few houses. Recall, the original iPhone (and the current ipod touch) did mapping fine without gps.
