As if the muslim world will give us credit for washing the body before dumping into the ocean. And didn't they desecrate the body by extracting a sample to send to the lab for DNA analysis?

Why was Osama bin Laden's body treated with such tender, loving care!!!!? Osama was given a respectful, dignified Muslim burial! Because we are civilized. Because we are better than them. As much as it may fulfill a vengeful desire to disrespect OBL in death as they would to us, in reality, I wouldn't want my son to know that I was capable of the abominations that the muslims perpetrate against other human beings. OBL is dead. There is nothing to be gained by pissing on his grave. And there is much to be gained by showing the sane muslims out there that we will hold ourselves to a higher standard.
