Some things are bothering me. This raid began from an airbase in Pakistan I guess about midnight local time since someone nearby was tweeting about the helicopters over the compound at 1 AM.

Can it really be the Pakistani military didn't know about it? Do convoys of American helicopters fly around Pakistan at all hours with no Pakistanis knowing about them?

The report that cell phones and communications were inactivated during the raid - can't be true. How about the tweets from people in Abbotabad DURING the raid?

We are not getting the whole story.

I'm even wondering if Bush and Obama both knew where Osama was for years and Obama just decided to take him out now to kick off his re-election campaign?

A better question would be why is Tehran creating these bogus stories. They also created one about the Israeli air force preparing for an attack. I would guess they are very insecure about a popular uprising, so they are building up the great US/Israeli Satan extra hard right now...

Why are you posting this obviously completely bogus story written by the Iranian "news" agency?

Tehran (FNA) Communication Systems Shut Down in Pakistan for ‘Kill Bin Laden’ Operation

I am so sorry. I probably should have pointed out that the "news" is out of Tehran and that the Iranians might have had some other agenda in mind. I also thought that most of the people here would not have needed my comments to point out that it's probably bogus. In addition, someone else had already posted that there was a guy tweeting in real time about what was going on, so it wasn't much of a stretch to figure out that the Iranians were, once again, putting out propaganda.

Sometimes folks are interested in what the "other side" is saying and how it's being reported elsewhere. That is why I posted an obviously completely bogus story written by the Iranian "news" agency. It raises the question of why they did that. It could have been that the Iranians are trying to show that the Pakis were cooperating. Now ask: Why would they do that?

You didn't need to shout at me.
